Tameka's Page

We rescued Lady Topeka, a beautiful Black Lab from the animal shelter. Unfortunately she didn't work out. She attacked cats and we had three! We found what we thought was a very good home for Lady. Lady was bred and my Tameka was born on December 26, 1997. Lady was an escape artist and got out. She did not make it, she was found the next morining along side the road. Tameka and her sister, now Whoopie, came home with us when they were 4 1/2 weeks old. Way to young. Dakota became their mother. She was wonderful with them. She cleaned them and kept them together in the livingroom. She slept by their crate at night instead of with us in the bedroom. She loved them. Whoopie now has a new family, which very nicely is right across the street.

Tameka has the easiest going personality I have ever seen in a dog. Dakota was wonderful and Tameka was even easier as pups. We are very lucky with our girls.
