Dakota came to us a very cute 7 week old puppy. She was our introduction to being owned by a Lab. We didn't know what to expect. What we got in Dakota was one of the sweetest, most loving and very smart girls. Puppyhood was a breeze. She learned many commands very fast in her first months with us.
She thinks everyone is her friend. But even though she was
perfect in our eyes, she had a problem. Not many other dogs liked
her. She overwhelmed them because all she wanted to do was PLAY!
I fostered puppies for our local rescue, because Dakota was so
good with them. I could not foster older dogs because Dakota was
to much for them. So we started looking for a puppy for Dakota.
By now we were in love with the Labrador breed, so we decided to get a Labrador sister for Dakota.
